Meet Ned Thomson

Assemblyman Ned Thomson began has legislative career in 2017 and was subsequently re-elected in the fall of that year.   He represents the 30th Legislative District which is comprised of 14 towns in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

He serves as a member of the Assembly Budget, Education and Telecommunications and Utilities Committees.

Prior to joining the Legislature, Assemblyman Thomson was Trustee of the New Jersey Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) for more than 20 years.  He also served on the Wall Township Committee for a decade where he was twice elected Mayor.  In addition, he was a member of the Wall Township Planning Board and Board of Adjustment.
